Currently designing projects for UNEP to reduce POPs and HHPs used in agriculture. Reducing the access and use of the most toxic pesticides will reduce environmental damage and negative public health impacts. Improving biodersity, is not only beneficial in its own right but will help agriculture be more sustainable and climate resistant. Changing farming systems will require a combination of approaches ranging from policy reform related to the registration of pesticides to establishing alternative, less-toxic farming systems that farmers are willing to adopt.
