I am a consultant, supporting UNEP on topics related to the use of chemicals in various products and the potential impact these can have on human health and the environment. In my daily work I interact with stakeholders from various sectors such as electronics, building materials and children's toys, enabling them to better understand and track the use of chemicals in the materials they use, and to eventually eliminate the use of potentially harmful ones. I have a background in Mechanical Engineering and Business Management. My professional experience comes from working on the cutting edge of advanced chemicals and materials used in energy-related sectors - from materials used in Li-ion batteries for energy storage to advanced composites used in wind turbines for renewable energy harvesting.
