We promote organic agriculture and help support farmers transition to organic. We advocate with government to create an enabling environment through policy change that will support organic farmers. We represent farmers, consumers, retailers and NGOs in pursuit of access to clean nutritious food. SAOSO is the recognised sector body and is the National Organic Agricultural Movement (NOAM) in South Africa. SAOSO is the country implementing partner of the GIZ funded Knowledge Hub for Organic Agriculture in South Africa. SAOSO is a member of IFOAM Organics International.
