My work on training farmers on proper agrochemical use keeps the levels of chemicals in the food chain at minimum residual levels because the farmers are in position to access knowledge on the good agricultural practices that relate to chemical use and by applying this knowledge they are able to produce safe food to feed their communities. They are also able to reduce on the impact of eutrophication in water bodies and also general environmental degradation through reduced pollution.
