Special programme projects database
The Special Programme has successfully processed three rounds of applications since its inception in 2015. The Programme is currently funding projects from 42 countries. You can explore the projects through our Projects Database.
Use the tool below to discover more about projects that have been funded by the Special Programme. It provides an overview of the activities each project has been undertaking to implement the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions, the Minamata Convention and SAICM. It also categorizes the objectives of each project into thematic areas.
The tool is designed to be interactive and can be used to explore detailed information about the objectives of each Special Programme project by selecting different categories within the visuals. Here some suggestions on how to explore the projects:
- Information on the first page can be used to explore the different activities that are being undertaken by the projects. The activities can be viewed either by category by clicking on a square in the visual on the left. They can also be viewed by country by clicking a country name from the map or from the box on the right.
- More detailed information on the activities can be found by clicking on the button in the bottom right hand corner.
- Information on the second page contains an overview of the Special Programme project portfolio. The data can be filtered by clicking on the different bars in each graph or by using the filters in the top right hand corner.
