The International Lead Poisoning Prevention Week of action (ILPPW) takes place every year at the end of October. Toxics Release Inventory Website Now Available in SpanishToday, EPA launched a Spanish version of the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) website. Spanish-speaking communities across the United States, including those in Puerto Rico, will be able to use this new website to learn about chemical releases and other waste management in their communities—expanding their access to environmental information and making TRI data easier to access.This new website makes the most popular resources from the English version of the website available in Spanish

OBJECTIVESThe objective of the evaluation is to provide an analysis of SAICM activities from 2006-2015 to support the intersessional process of the ICCM to develop recommendations and to enable ICCM5 to take an informed decision on future arrangements for the Strategic Approach and the sound management of chemicals and waste beyond 2020.The evaluation, where appropriate, draws on lessons learned with respect to the implementation of the Strategic Approach, including: • Impact of the Strategic Approach; • Strengths, weaknesses and gaps
