The event, organized by the Chinese National Cleaner Production Center (CNCPC), aims to share and discuss information related to lead paint both in the global and country context. Data and information on health and economic impact, country lead paint testing, current legislation, and paint market situation are presented and discussed with government officials (environment, industry, etc). The 14th International Conference on Mercury as a Global Pollutant (ICMGP 2019) will convene on the theme, ‘Bridging Knowledge on Global Mercury with Environmental Responsibility, Human Welfare and Policy Response’. The meeting will seek to assess implementation of solutions to reduce the emissions and exposure to mercury as a global environmental pollutant and test the efficiency of implementation of the Minamata Convention in various parts of the world.
