The event, organized by Nexus 4 (formerly BaliFokus, an IPEN NGO partner) aims to officially launch the "Elimination of Lead in Paint" project implementation in Indonesia as well as share and discuss information related to lead paint both in the global and country context. The overall goal of the workshop is to discuss in detail the project work plan and the draft technical guidelines on paint reformulation as it applies to SMEs. The event, organized by the Chinese National Cleaner Production Center (CNCPC), aims to share and discuss information related to lead paint both in the global and country context. Data and information on health and economic impact, country lead paint testing, current legislation, and paint market situation are presented and discussed with government officials (environment, industry, etc). The SAICM GEF project is presented including the work plans for the SME demonstration pilots. The project's work on legal assistance is also introduced
