Minamata Convention COP4
The fourth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP4) to the Minamata Convention on Mercury is expected to review the Convention’s Annexes A and B and financial mechanism, and conduct an effectiveness review of the Convention. The Minamata Convention was adopted to address mercury, a heavy metal that is persistent in the environment. The Convention was adopted on 10 October 2013, and entered into force on 16 August 2017. Paint Reformulation in SMEs Launching Workshop: Indonesia
The event, organized by Nexus 4 (formerly BaliFokus, an IPEN NGO partner) aims to officially launch the "Elimination of Lead in Paint" project implementation in Indonesia as well as share and discuss information related to lead paint both in the global and country context. Paint Reformulation in SMEs Launching Workshop: NCPC China
The event, organized by the Chinese National Cleaner Production Center (CNCPC), aims to share and discuss information related to lead paint both in the global and country context.
