The event, organized by the Chinese National Cleaner Production Center (CNCPC), aims to share and discuss information related to lead paint both in the global and country context. Data and information on health and economic impact, country lead paint testing, current legislation, and paint market situation are presented and discussed with government officials (environment, industry, etc). The SAICM GEF project is presented including the work plans for the SME demonstration pilots. The project's work on legal assistance is also introduced
