The event, organized by the Chinese National Cleaner Production Center (CNCPC), aims to share and discuss information related to lead paint both in the global and country context. Data and information on health and economic impact, country lead paint testing, current legislation, and paint market situation are presented and discussed with government officials (environment, industry, etc). The SAICM GEF project is presented including the work plans for the SME demonstration pilots. The project's work on legal assistance is also introduced

A technical expert workshop on indicators, generously hosted by the Government of the United Kingdom, was held from 3 to 5 September 2019 in Cambridge, United Kingdom. The workshop was run by the UN Environment World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC).
