My work aims at developing new tools and guidance to reduce the use of chemicals of concern in building, toys and electronic sectors. This includes supporting the integration of considerations on chemicals of concern within instruments for sustainable public procurement and eco-innovation guidelines, as well as analyses of regulatory frameworks addressing chemicals of concern around the globe. The goal is to support different stakeholders throughout the value chain in addressing and reducing the use of chemicals of concern within products. I am an environmental scientist by training and before joining UNEP, I worked in the academic, public and private sector in the fields of chemicals regulation and environmental consulting.
